Job Summary
This role provides accounting and administrative support, with a primary focus on expense report management. It ensures the accurate processing, verification, and administration of financial transactions using systems such as Concur, JD Edwards, and OnBase. The role also contributes to daily office operations, report preparation, and administrative coordination to support team efficiency. Main Responsbilities Accounting Support
  • Review expense reports in Concur, including:
    • Verifying expense entries.
    • Reconciling receipts and taxes.
    • Ensuring accurate coding.
    • Matching submitted totals with statement totals.
  • Administer the Concur platform, including managing access, performing updates, and adding new users.
  • Provide support to users of the Concur platform.
  • Support Accounts Payable.
  • Use software systems (JD Edwards, OnBase, Concur) to manage reports and track financial data.
Administrative Support
  • Scan or upload invoices into OnBase for processing.
  • Prepare various reports.
  • Manage office correspondence - handle inboxes, respond to customer calls, and welcome visitors.
  • Complete electronic documentation.
  • Work with documents using Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
What you bring Qualifications & Experience:
  • College diploma (DEC) or certificate in accounting (or a related field).
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken French.
  • Functional proficiency in written and spoken English; this is considered an asset to interact with English-speaking colleagues from sister subsidiaries and the Colas Canada group, which primarily operates in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
