POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Located in the Lower Laurentians, the Manoir Fontainebleau is pleased to welcome a golden clientele, whether independent or with a slight loss of autonomy. There's a warm and friendly atmosphere where we feel right at home.
We are looking for a dynamic, versatile, and motivated individual to ensure the housekeeping of the common areas and, occasionally, the residents' apartments.
This position is unique in that it is a rotational position, offering you the opportunity to cover for various shifts in the housekeeping department. In addition, as needed, you will also be required to provide support to the dining room team, either as a server or kitchen assistant/dishwasher.
Permanent part-time position, days, evenings, or nights from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 3:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. or 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., and weekends as needed.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carry out housekeeping of residents' apartments
- Perform any other related tasks requested by the immediate superior or pertaining to their duties
- Perform any other related tasks requested by the superior.
- Provide assistance to the dining room and kitchen team as needed (service, washing up, kitchen assistant)
- Carry out the maintenance of the premises in accordance to a regular reocurring schedule or as required
- Clean entryways and common areas
- Clean storage spaces and maintenance carts
- Keep the work environment clean
- Maintain and clean the premises
- Maintenance and cleaning of indoor and outdoor parking lots
- Taking out the trash
- Wash windows at main and secondary entrances
- Professional training in general building maintenance (an asset)
- 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
- Experience in the kitchen as a kitchen assistant and dishwasher as well as in dining room service
