POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Located in the heart of the new Solar district in Brossard, Jazz Brossard is delighted to welcome a select clientele, whether independent or with a loss of autonomy. It has a warm and friendly atmosphere where we feel at home. We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, daytime, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and weekends in case of emergency.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the staffing process in your area by onboarding, training and integrating new personnel
- Coordinate the work of the housekeeping and maintenance teams
- Inspect buildings and coordinate interviews according to established standards
- Plan, organize and manage maintenance work including that of subcontractors
- Take appropriate action during any emergency situation that may arise in the establishment
- Actively participate in various company committees - Know and apply company policies and procedures
- Be available to respond to emergencies
- Maintenance and monitoring of equipment (mechanical rooms, electrical rooms, pumps, furnaces, valves, etc.)
- Manage apartment renovations in accordance with the program established by general management/the general manager
- Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.)
- Schedule and ensure that preventive maintenance is performed on equipment
- A DEP in general builing maintenance (as asset)
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience
- Expérience comme entrepreneur général et/ou en construction et/ou gestion de projets en construction (atout majeur)
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
