POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Les Terrasses Versailles, a friendly private seniors' residence located in Anjou, is seeking a person to fill a full-time maintenance attendant position.
The person must have general maintenance skills and good knowledge of plumbing, electricity, carpentry, painting, masonry, etc. in order to intervene in situations requiring these skills. Additionally, the candidate must be able to work independently and/or as part of a team.
Permanent, full-time position, 40 hours per week, daytime hours from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and every other weekend.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- All other related tasks
- Be available to respond to emergencies
- Make service calls
- Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.)
- Preventive maintenance on equipment
- Supervise the maintenance of the equipment
- A DEP in general builing maintenance (as asset)
- High school diploma (SSD)
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
