The Access to Care leadership team is seeking a full-time, contract (24 month) Clinical Operations Coordination Leader who will be critical in supporting the operation and coordination of both clinical and administrative functions for CAMH Patient Flow. You will work collaboratively with the Patient Flow Manager, Emergency Department leaders, Inpatient and Outpatient leaders, as well as front line staff. You will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Emergency Department, and Patient Flow.

The Clinical Operations Coordination Leader will support Patient Flow protocols. You will oversee and facilitate effective and efficient patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, supporting CAMH patient flow guidelines and processes. This role will involve developing and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless access across the continuum of care.

The successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree in nursing and be registered and in good standing with a regulated health professional college. Two (2) years of recent, related clinical leadership experience is required. Previous supervisory/management experience is preferred. Knowledge and experience within an Emergency Department, inpatient units and Patient Flow is strongly preferred. You will have demonstrated knowledge and experience of mental health and addiction systems and an understanding of service delivery across diverse patient populations. You will have a proven commitment to supporting teams and clients and family-centered care. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), and the ability to work effectively within a dynamic inter-professional team are essential to the role. You have proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint). Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language would be an asset.
