The Corporate Advanced Practice Clinical Leader for the Interprofessional Practice, Standards and Measurement portfolio is an experienced APCL from one of the Allied Mental Health Disciplines with demonstrated advanced practice skills and experience in practice leadership at the organization level - leading committees, initiatives, providing consultation and bringing discipline-specific and population-specific knowledge to this work.

This full-time, permanent role will collaborate across the programs, services and interprofessional teams to advance practice excellence for all allied disciplines, advance quality improvement work, and ensure evidence-based care delivery to support best possible patient outcomes. The Corporate APCL (Allied Health) will utilize implementation science and change management best practices to influence practice changes across CAMH. The Corporate APCL (Allied Health) will report to the Director of Interprofessional Practice, Standards and Measurement in the Professional Practice Office.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will possess a Master's Degree nursing or other Allied health-care discipline and will be a member of good standing with their regulatory college. In addition, 5 years clinical experience involving clients with mental health, addiction and forensic issues is required. Eligibility for cross-appointment with the corresponding University of Toronto Faculty is also required. The successful candidate will have the ability to provide leadership in practice development; the ability to challenge and motivate others; commitment to enhancing academic and research endeavors; experience in leading change; monitoring and measuring outcomes; and the ability to provide advanced clinical care in a culturally diverse environment. You will have experience with integrated care pathways, measurement-based care as well as clinical leadership and staff engagement expertise. You must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, teaching and computer skills. Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language is considered an asset.
