The Work, Stress and Health service is currently seeking a full-time, permanent Psychologist. The WSH is a unique service within CAMH in that it is a revenue generating service, working exclusively with third party insurers. In this role, you will work as a member of a multidisciplinary team providing assessment and treatment services to clients referred by the WSIB. This service specializes in providing assessment and outpatient treatment for individuals with post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and other psychiatric disorders that are related to the workplace.

As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive psychological assessments as well as evidence based treatment in both individual and group formats that will address psychological functioning, diagnosis and return to work. You will participate in multidisciplinary and cross-disciplinary education, clinical supervision and training. This position is currently located at 250 College Street. Hybrid arrangements are possible. Evening work may be required.

The candidate must be registered, or eligible for registration, with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree in Psychology with 3 years clinical experience. You will have experience in evidenced based treatment for trauma and stressor-related disorders as well as mood, anxiety, and concurrent disorders. Significant experience in the administration of psychological assessments, including objective self-report instruments and structured diagnostic interviewing, are essential, with an emphasis on the SCID, MMPI-2, and PAI. Experience in assessing response bias and/or experience in pain assessment would be seen as an asset, as would experience in addictions and/or concurrent disorders and experience supporting specialty populations such as military and first responders. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment is essential to the success of this position. The successful candidate will also possess excellent organizational and communication skills and can work effectively within set contractual reporting deadlines. High degree of proficiency with computer-based programs (word processing, electronic communication, workload measures) is required. The capacity to work with clients of diverse ethnoracial and cultural backgrounds is required and proficiency in a second language would be considered an asset.
