About this opportunity:
Join Cenovus Energy Inc. as a SCM Atlantic Expeditor and play a crucial role in our Atlantic Region operations. This outstanding opportunity allows you to collaborate closely with various collaborators, ensuring seamless delivery of materials to support our offshore assets.
This position is a full time, permanent position, located at our St. John’s office.
What you’ll do:
Manage open purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate material availability for offshore operations
Collaborate with business units to align delivery timelines with operational and project schedules
Update delivery dates in SAP and generate detailed reports to support planning and operational teams
Lead supplier performance meetings to promote accountability, transparency, and timely resolution of delays
Prepare and maintain expediting reports to provide clear visibility on delivery status and support offshore readiness
Identify and advance any logistics, customs, or importation issues that could impact material availability
Support broader supply chain initiatives, including procurement activities and material master data creation, as required
Who you are:
Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in Canada
Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, expediting, or procurement, preferably in oil and gas
Experience with offshore assets or remote logistics is an asset
Proficient in SAP and knowledgeable about supply chain operations
Strong communication, negotiation, and collaborator engagement skills
Highly organized with excellent time management, problem-solving, and the ability to work independently or in cross-functional teams
