Role:
Inspect, diagnose, recommend, and repair faults & malfunctions in mechanical components, hydraulic systems, and electronics of equipment in for servicing.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, diagnose, recommend, service, and repair faults & malfunctions in mechanical components, hydraulic systems, and electronics of concrete pumping equipment
  • Communicate with shop Foreman/Service Manager for authorizing of servicing and repairs as required
  • Check/test all repaired work to ensure that pumps are in good and safe operating condition
  • Input to repair order to ensure all required information on work order is accurate legible and complete
  • Maintain accurate personal timecards associated to work orders
  • Record parts and equipment utilized on the repair order and ensure the parts person is aware of stock taken
  • Maintenance on support equipment and fleet
  • Over the phone customer support may be required
  • Adhere to all safety policies, maintain and utilize appropriate PPE

Requested skills

Qualifications:
  • Completion of secondary school or trade certificate an asset
  • Able to work at heights (can provide training)
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs on a regular basis
  • Able to work independently, or as part of a team, be reliable, and self-driven
  • An understanding of concrete, construction, and concrete pumping
  • Previous experience working on Mack or Putzmeister equipment an asset
  • Previous experience working on hydraulics
  • Dependable, hardworking, punctual, reliable, team player with positive attitude
