THE ROLEIn this role, you are responsible for shaping and leading a national Affinity Partnerships portfolio that delivers meaningful value to the Canadian Armed Forces community while driving sustainable revenue growth for CANEX. Your day often begins with reviewing partnership performance dashboards-assessing revenue, engagement metrics, and KPIs across a diverse portfolio of national partners. Using data-driven insights, you identify opportunities to optimize performance, evolve programs, or initiate renegotiations to ensure each partnership remains competitive, relevant, and aligned with member needs.
You regularly collaborate with internal stakeholders across marketing, finance, operations, and senior leadership to align priorities, troubleshoot challenges, and ensure seamless program delivery. Whether coordinating a marketing initiative, refining financial projections, or addressing operational enhancements, you act as the connective tissue between teams and external partners. Throughout the day, you engage with national partners-strengthening relationships, advancing strategic discussions, and guiding program enhancements that maximize member value and return on investment. You provide clear direction, accountability, and strategic oversight to ensure partnerships deliver against both commercial and community objectives. You also lead continuous improvement initiatives, including enhancing digital platforms, refining customer journeys, and streamlining backend processes to improve efficiency and user experience. From overseeing major platform updates to ensuring governance, documentation, and reporting are in place, you balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution. Ultimately, your day is a blend of strategy, analysis, collaboration, and relationship management-focused on building high-impact partnerships that support CANEX’s financial performance and deliver tangible benefits to the CAF community.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Merchandising or a related discipline AND some years of experience in category management, marketing, business development, or progressive retail experience.

OTHER INFORMATIONThis is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
