Description
We are looking for a UX/UI Designer with a passion for user experience and mobility, to contribute to the design of digital interfaces integrated into our recreational vehicles.
As part of your duties, you will work closely with product managers, software teams, and vehicle engineering. You will support the implementation and validate the UX/UI quality of the deliverables through agile practices.
You will play a key role in creating intuitive, safe, and engaging experiences, covering:
embedded interfaces (dashboard screens, controls, vehicle displays).
interactions with our mobile and web platforms (connectivity, vehicle tracking, digital services).
and end-to-end user journeys, from the vehicle to digital ecosystems.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
User research and experience
Understand the real-world uses of recreational vehicle drivers (leisure, sport, utility, and adventure).
Plan and conduct UX research activities: interviews, user testing, field observations, and data analysis.
Translate user needs into personas, journeys, usage scenarios, and innovation opportunities.
UX Design
Design consistent user experiences for constrained environments (vibrations, brightness, weather, gloves, and safety).
Define the information architecture, flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to balance desirability, feasibility, and viability.
UI Design
Design clear, robust, and readable visual interfaces for use in extreme conditions.
Apply and evolve design systems (components, styles, and guidelines).
Ensure visual consistency between embedded interfaces and mobile/web platforms.
YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Experience and skills
5+ years of experience in UX/UI design (digital product, software, or embedded).
Solid understanding of UX principles, ergonomics, and user-centered design.
Excellent command of design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or the like).
Experience in connected products, IoT, embedded, automotive, or industrial sectors (major asset).
Ability to design for critical and contextual interfaces (safety, attention, and performance).
Personal qualities
Curiosity about vehicles, mobility, the outdoors, or motorized sports.
Collaborative, solution-oriented, and continuous improvement mindset.
Ability to explain and defend design choices to a variety of stakeholders.
Autonomy, rigour, and a sense of priorities in a fast-changing environment.
Additional strengths
Experience with HMI, IVI, or embedded displays.
Knowledge of regulatory or safety constraints (ISO, accessibility, etc.).
Sensitivity to international and multi-brand environments.
Interest in telemetry, vehicle connectivity, and digital services.
