Our multidisciplinary team leads creative development, production management, post-production, and digital activations that elevate brand engagement worldwide. DOO Studio is looking for an experienced Design Lead to join our team!
As the Design Lead, Brand Expression & Creative Adaptation, you will shape how our brands show up across our content and marketing assets while elevating the creative team’s capabilities through modern tools, workflows, and technologies. You bring a confident, creative point of view, challenge the status quo when needed, and help evolve the Visual Brand Identity (VBI) to meet evolving performance & digital platform realities.
Reporting to DOO Studio’s Content Adaptation Manager, you will partner closely with marketing teams and Brand Leads to interpret the VBI, unlock flexibility when needed, and guide the adaptation of master ideas into effective, channel-appropriate executions. In this role, you balance creative leadership with technical enablement-implementing smarter workflows, unlocking new efficiencies, and championing design technologies that allow adapted content to scale with quality, consistency, and velocity.
Note: This role focuses exclusively on marketing and content assets; it does not include UX/UI or digital product design responsibilities.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Lead the adaptation of master creative concepts into high-quality digital and e-commerce assets that reflect strong brand expression, channel, and retail best practices.
Act as a key expert on how the VBIs translate across digital contexts, advising where guidelines hold firm, where flexibility is needed, and ensuring creative assets meet technical and BRP channel-specific requirements (Web, Ecom, CRM).
Collaborate with Brand Leads and Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to interpret, clarify, and evolve brand guidelines - bringing forward clear design rationale to support informed content adaptation decisions.
Facilitate productive discussions, negotiating solutions that protect brand equity while enabling effective, channel-appropriate creative.
Lead the creative development and evolution of e-commerce, seasonal, and commercial concepts, guiding designers and project leads toward impactful, on-brand executions.
Maintain visual continuity and creative quality across adapted content in collaboration with internal teams and external agencies.
Drive innovation in creative workflows through Figma libraries, templating systems, AI-assisted tools, and scalable production methods.
Review and elevate designers’ work by providing clear, constructive direction and mentorship.
Share technical and creative expertise with the design team, helping them strengthen their craft and use modern creative technologies effectively.
Continuously explore emerging digital design trends and best-in-class retail examples, translating these insights into fresh creative approaches that strengthen our brand expression.
YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Only qualified candidates with an attached portfolio will be considered
7-10 years of experience in graphic, digital, and multi-channel design within an in-house studio or agency.
A strong portfolio that showcases digital craft, brand identity application, and adapted creative across formats and markets.
Proven experience designing for e-retail and digital outputs, with a strong grasp of platform requirements and what drives effective creative across channels.
Ability to interpret and apply brand guidelines with nuance, knowing when to preserve the core identity and when to propose thoughtful flexibility.
Clear, confident communicator who navigates differing viewpoints with maturity and positivity.
Grounded and adaptable, open to feedback and comfortable working within multi-stakeholder decision environments.
Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and After Effects, as well as experience with AI-enabled tools or scalable workflows.
Detail-oriented, organised, and able to balance creative exploration with efficient execution.
Curious and forward-thinking, eager to push creative boundaries while elevating the brand consistently.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and elevate designers through constructive feedback, clear direction, and a supportive team environment.
