Specialist Retail Activation Strategy, Can-Am Off-Road

As a key member of the Can-Am Off-Road consumer engagement team, the Retail Activation Specialist will play a role in elevating the brands via strong last mile marketing strategies, campaigns and brand activations that aim at fueling demand for our powersport products. To do so, we are looking for someone with robust strategic skills, rooted by insights & analytics, who will bring the last mile of the consumer journey to the next level. We’re looking for someone who also has creative skills, making him/her able to judge creative work aligned with the brand identity. You must have experience in or with advertising agencies to build strong partnerships through collaboration. To deliver on promises, you must be an organized and rigorous project manager. All of this, to connect with our consumers in a unique and meaningful way! 

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Develop 360 last mile marketing strategies tied to the market reality and business priorities. 

  • Develop last mile, dealer content & promotional assets based on business priorities for the year, taking into account Can-Am Off-Road marketing strategies and go-to-market plan.

  • Ensure the integration with the overarching holistic plan for Can-Am Off-Road, including aligning the objectives, the strategies, the tactics and the KPIs. 

  • Lead creative projects in collaboration with the agencies and key stakeholders, including briefing, creative development, production, in-market and postmortem.

  • Actively participate in developing brand content adaptation for last mile activations (videos, photos, promotional material, social posts, website content, dealer tools, etc.).

  • Ensure all content strictly complies to Visual Brand Identity guidelines & ensure a consistent apparition of the brand throughout its global channels and funnels.

  • Bring innovative ideas to elevate consumer experience rooted with Can-Am Off-Road branding and values. 

  • Manage and coordinate projects on budget, within resources and timeline. 

  • Build strong connections and collaborate with key stakeholders inside the organization (expert teams: Web, CRM, Media, Retail operations, etc..) and outside the organization (ex: partner agencies)

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.

  • Experience in managing a budget in support of marketing and event plans.

  • Excellent ability to develop and communicate marketing strategy and plans.

  • Ability to produce marketing messages with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec or unilingual English on a daily basis.

  • Superior time management and organizational skills to manage timelines as well as balance coordinator duties along with additional expectations.

  • Excellent problem solving skills and high level of attention to detail.

  • Strong project and change management experience.

  • Creative and passionate about strong brand image.

  • Result-driven, with strong analytical skills.

  • Experienced in brief writing and providing clear and actionable feedback.

  • Rigorous, organized and detail-oriented.

  • Good at multitasking and managing projects.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
