We are looking for a talented Platform Engineer to join our team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our platforms for the development and deployment of analytical and AI projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of DevOps and AI, helping to shape the way we deliver scalable and efficient AI-driven solutions at BRP.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Monitor and enhance the platforms supporting Advanced Analytics & AI initiatives throughout their lifecycle stages: development, deployment and monitoring.
Design and implement DevOps/MLOps practices to streamline deployment activities.
Create and extensively document processes to support developers within the life cycle of initiatives.
Collaborate with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to develop tools for experimentation and productionization.
Play the role of platform administrator by granting accesses, controlling permissions and assisting on security activities.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
Solid work experience with DevOps/MLOps concepts, including writing modular and scalable code, experimentation, testing, CI/CD, and monitoring.
Proficiency in Python with focus on scripting, automation, and integration.
Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and model evaluation techniques.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside of Quebec or unilingual English-speaking on a daily basis.
