Team Lead, Integration and API

BRP is seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Lead - Integration & Interfaces to oversee the delivery of integration projects across our enterprise systems. This role will lead a multidisciplinary team of Integration Architects, Analyst Developers, and Functional Analysts, ensuring the successful design, development, and deployment of scalable and secure integration solutions (APIs, microservices, SAP interfaces, etc.).

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing integration team.

  • Foster a collaborative and agile work environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Manage team capacity, priorities, and performance reviews.

Integration Strategy & Delivery

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of integration projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.

  • Define and enforce integration standards, best practices, and governance (API lifecycle, microservices architecture, security protocols).

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and external partners to align integration solutions with business needs.

  • Act as an ambassador for the integration teams. Has to be willing to explain and promote the role of the integration teams within the enterprise

Technical Oversight

  • Guide the design and implementation of APIs, microservices, and SAP interfaces.

  • Ensure integration solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture.

  • Promote DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and other IT teams to ensure seamless integration across platforms.

  • Work closely with the other Integration Team

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable development plans.


YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related study, or equivalent project-related experience.

  • Minimum of five years of experience in IT, with at least two years in managing integration teams.

  • Proven experience in leading technical teams in integration or software development.

  • Strong expertise in system integration technologies (REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, middleware, ETL).

  • Experience with SAP integration (S/4HANA, PI/PO, BTP) is a strong asset.

  • Familiarity with cloud integration platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform is a strong asset)

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Bilingual (French/English) to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec or unilingual English speakers on a daily basis.
