Manager, FP&A & Strategics Projects

We are looking for a dynamic Finance Manager to support the Vice President Finance of the Powersports Group. You will work closely with the Vice President of Finance and their teams, supporting them in defining and implementing strategic projects, preparing for and participating in management meetings, and executing special mandates.

You will also be responsible for coordinating the consolidation of monthly consolidated results, quarterly forecasts, and the annual strategic budget/plan with all stakeholders, including financial analysis and presentations for the Powersports Group.

 

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Support for daily financial operations:

  • Monitor and report on progress against objectives.

  • Assist in creating various presentations (storytelling).

  • Contribute to realization to accelerate certain projects.

  • Contribute to project implementation to accelerate certain projects.

  • Participate in brainstorming ideas and counsel the team as an advisor.

  • Validate the assumptions and financial models prepared by other teams.

 

Financial transformation and other strategic projects:

  • Develop tools and reports to enhance the quality and efficiency of financial management within finance and business teams.

  • Identify and implement dashboards for operational and financial performance, integrated across teams up to the CFO.

  • Assist teams in preparing business cases and financial models to support potential investments.

  • Contribute to identifying opportunities to explore for improving financial performance.

  • Identify the key cost drivers to enhance the accuracy of financial forecasts and set targets by group.

  • Assist in fostering an analytical culture within the finance team, beyond traditional tools and approaches.

 

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; MBA or CPA preferred.

  • 5-10 years of experience in financial modelling and/or financial process improvement.

  • Proven experience in business case development and performance management.

  • Strong expertise in financial modeling and SQL basics (data hands-on).

  • Excellent written communication skills (storytelling skillset).

  • Very high level of detail and quality (documents and PowerPoint).

  • Self-learner (demonstrated thirst for learning).

  • Commitment and flexibility (atypical, intense, and high-pressure schedule).

  • Excellent business acumen (entrepreneurial mindset that enjoys questioning things, finding opportunities, and investigating them).

  • A high degree of autonomy (the ability to take a problem or idea, transform it into a clear mandate with objectives, and execute it with minimal supervision).

  • Experience working with senior management is an asset (interpersonal skills).
