YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Analyze and review acquisition requests and create projects in the system while ensuring compliance with our internal policies.
Responsible for certain monthly, quarterly, and annual SOX controls related to the tasks under your supervision.
Analyze lease contracts to determine accounting procedures and record monthly entries.
Prepare quarterly variance analyses and provide appropriate explanations.
Coordinate the inventory count of our assets in collaboration with various stakeholders and ensure that our objectives are met.
Participate in the financial forecasting process and forecast depreciation expenses.
Prepare various management reports (support for finance/management/tax teams).
Maintain the capitalizable expenditure planning tool and support users.
Understand and apply accounting and corporate rules concerning fixed asset management.
Participate in various continuous improvement projects.
Participate in various ad hoc financial analyses.
YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. A CPA designation (or one in the process of being obtained) is considered an asset.
At least 3 years of experience in a related field.
Excellent command of Excel.
Knowledge of SAP would be an asset.
Knowledge of Power BI or interest in developing this skill (an asset).
Proficiency in both spoken and written French and English.
Good planning and organizational skills.
Excellent prioritization skills and the ability to work in a team.
The drive to attain continuous improvement in task execution.
Attention to detail and thoroughness.
