A career as a Private Banker at National Bank means acting as an experienced specialist in transactional banking and credit solutions for clients of wealth management advisors of National Bank Financial.
This position reports to the Vice President, Commercial & Private Banking 1859.
Your job:
- Recommend and implement strategic financing solutions adapted to the needs of clients of wealth management advisors of National Bank Financial.
- Develop the banking side of the clients of NBF wealth advisors by working closely with them
- Take advantage of new business opportunities with wealth management advisors and position the offering of banking services according to the different packages available.
- Participate in identifying business potential for new clients.
- Act as a banking services expert to all team members.
- Rigorously apply processes and procedures in order to properly analyze customer needs and determine with them an integrated and profitable financial strategy.
- Provide exemplary customer service and provide them with a personalized experience.
- Contribute to growing the Portfolio and profitability by offering transactional banking and credit solutions appropriate to the clientele indicated by the team's wealth management advisors.
- Develop with the client a strategic action plan adapted to their situation and direct its implementation.
- Be responsible for the sustainability and profitability of the relationship with customers regarding their banking and financing needs.
- Establish constant communication with advisors in order to identify their needs and propose solutions allowing them to maximize business development opportunities with their clients.
- Integrate the appropriate specialists or stakeholders into the relationship to adequately respond to client needs.
- Ensure efficient and profitable management of the client portfolio under your responsibility.
- Interpret financial data in systems and submit financing and credit renewal applications.

Prerequisites:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration (or related field) and six (6) years of relevant experience as a banker (standard credit and small business), or master's degree in a relevant discipline and four (4) years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent knowledge of transactional banking and credit offerings.
- Significant experience in business development
- In-depth knowledge of personal banking products and services.
- Good knowledge of business banking products and services.
- Marked skills in interpersonal relationships.
- Ability to work independently without daily supervision.
- Advanced experience in consulting services.
