BRP is looking for a Data Architect to join its team and help elevate the organization’s global analytics practice to the next level. We’re seeking a motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic, challenging environment, enjoys working with cutting‑edge tools, and excels at solving complex problems with innovative solutions. In this role, you will be at the heart of deploying world‑class analytics solutions and will play a key part in making data a strategic advantage for BRP.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Establish and maintain the data model for the transportation teams within an enterprise-wide perspective.
Participate in the creation of data models by developing the required SQL scripts.
Work closely with business lines, data engineers, business data analysts, and other data architects.
Translate business needs into concrete, understandable data solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
Capture business requirements to design relational, dimensional, or data vault data models supporting various data use cases.
Deeply analyze diverse data sources-primarily SAP-to identify, define, and optimize the relationships needed to ensure coherent, reliable, and scalable integration.
Define and implement architectural components that ensure data availability, quality, security, and accessibility.
Continuously improve the BI platform architecture, from raw data ingestion to the presentation layer.
Act as a leader in defining and promoting best practices.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, or equivalent.
Strong and proven experience in data modeling.
Solid experience with SQL.
Experience with SAP and the ability to navigate table structures and understand their relationships.
Experience with Snowflake is an asset.
Highly organized, capable of building a “game plan,” and able to prioritize tasks with conflicting deadlines.
Continuously proposes creative improvement ideas and enjoys exploring new technologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English, with the ability to prepare and deliver executive presentations.
Previous experience working in an agile delivery model.
Demonstrated ability to simplify and explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
