- Understand, structure, and synthesize symptoms in order to develop a technical hypothesis consistent with vehicle architecture.
- Assess the impact, severity, and criticality of detected issues to establish intervention priorities.
Close collaboration with Connected Systems Engineering
- Work daily with engineers responsible for connected platforms, understanding their technical vocabulary (communication protocols, systems, network interactions, software architecture).
- Ensure clear, accurate, and actionable information transfer between field observations and R&D teams.
- Contribute to the prioritization of software and/or hardware fixes based on customer and network impact.
PPQ coordination & problem solving
- Mobilize key stakeholders (Engineering, Supplier Quality Assurance, Production, Operations) to implement rapid and effective action plans.
- Monitor the implementation of corrective measures and ensure smooth communication between internal teams and the network.
- Draft the necessary communications to dealers regarding available solutions, procedures, or updates.
Continuous improvement & targeted validation
- Participate in the validation of fixes or new connected features, in collaboration with the testing teams.
- Recommend additional tests to prevent regressions or increase system robustness.
- Contribute to improving PPQ processes related to connected technologies.
YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechatronics, electrical, software, computer science, or related field), or equivalent highly technical experience with embedded systems.
