Technical Specialist, MBD

We are looking for a Technical Specialist in Multibody Dynamics (MBD) to support the engineers of the MBD team within the Predictive Engineering department. Reporting to the MBD Team Lead, you will help to change the future of recreational products through innovation and continuous improvement. In this role, you will actively participate in the design of recreational vehicles by leading test sessions and analyzing the collected data to support our numerical simulation activities related to durability and DVB (Dynamic Vehicle Behaviour).

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Prepare, organize, and coordinate test sessions.

  • Collect, prepare, and analyze the necessary data to support MBD engineers.

  • Assist and pilot vehicles during tests.

  • Standardize and improve test procedures.

  • Evaluate the condition of vehicles during testing.

  • Provide feedback on track conditions, driving style, and vehicle behaviour, etc.

  • Collaborate with engineering, design, lab and machine shop teams at various stages of the product development process.

  • Travel up to 20% of the time to support activities related to MBD.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Knowledge of BRP products.

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.

  • Knowledge of the principles of operation and construction of the various mechanical systems of a motor vehicle.

  • Good team spirit, positivity, proactivity, and autonomy.

  • The ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a multidisciplinary environment.
