Description
We are currently hiring a SQL / Backend Developer for a growing Quebec-based organization operating in an environment where IT systems (WMS, ERP) are tightly integrated with warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance an internal Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Write, maintain, and optimize SQL queries (SQL Server)
- Perform direct database interventions to resolve operational issues
- Develop application components using C#, VB, Python, or similar languages
- Provide technical support for warehouse operations systems
- Analyze data to identify root causes and implement solutions
- Collaborate directly with operations teams to understand business needs
- Contribute to system integrations (WMS, ERP, internal tools)
- Support continuous improvement of systems and processes
- Maintain clear documentation of changes and fixes
Profile
- 2–5 years of experience in software development (backend / SQL / applications)
- Strong SQL skills:
- Complex queries
- Data manipulation
- Stored procedures
- Experience with at least one programming language:
- C#, VB, Python, C++ or similar
- Comfortable working in production environments
- Understanding of enterprise systems (ERP, operational systems, WMS)
- Analytical mindset with a hands-on, problem-solving approach
Conditions
- Full-time permanent position (35 hours/week)
- Salary: $80,000 – $110,000 depending on experience
