Description
We are currently partnering with a growing Quebec-based organization operating in an environment where physical operations and technology systems are closely interconnected. The company manages a network of locations as well as logistics facilities supporting a high volume of daily transactions.
To support this growth, the organization is looking to hire a Functional Analyst specialized in warehouse systems. This individual will play a key role in ensuring operational reliability, supporting data analysis, and driving continuous improvement of tools used by frontline teams.
This role is ideal for someone who can quickly understand operational realities and deliver practical, hands-on solutions in an environment that values autonomy and resourcefulness.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the stability and efficiency of systems supporting logistics operations
- Troubleshoot operational issues related to inventory and product movement
- Analyze data using SQL queries to support operational decision-making
- Develop and maintain reports to monitor operational performance
- Identify improvement opportunities and propose actionable solutions
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment and integration across systems
- Participate in system optimization initiatives and internal tool enhancements
- Maintain clear documentation of processes, fixes, and best practices
- Act as a bridge between operations teams and IT
Profile
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within logistics or distribution environments
- Fluent in French is mendatory (Oral & Written)
- Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or similar operational system
- Strong SQL skills (data analysis, complex queries, data validation)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with a programming or scripting language (asset)
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and distribution workflows
- Strong analytical mindset with a practical, solution-oriented approach
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, less structured environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with non-technical teams
Nice to have:
- Experience with a modern ERP system
- Experience in a multi-site environment
- Knowledge of system integrations
