We represent a fast-growing Quebec-based company in the insurance sector currently undergoing a major digital transformation centered around the Guidewire platform.
To support its operations and the evolution of its systems, the organization is looking to add a Guidewire Functional Analyst who can help bridge the gap between business teams and development teams.
You will join a small, versatile team where analysts play an important role in gathering requirements, producing functional documentation, and supporting the delivery of practical solutions.
Responsibilities

Gather and analyze business requirements from subject matter experts and stakeholders

Translate business needs into clear functional specifications

Prepare and document change requests

Write and maintain functional documentation (user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows)

Collaborate closely with Guidewire developers

Participate in QA testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)

Contribute to the analysis and resolution of application incidents

Participate in workshops and facilitate communication between business and technical teams
Profile
-
3–5 years of experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter
-
Experience in functional analysis or business analysis
-
Ability to understand technical concepts and collaborate with development teams

Experience writing user stories and functional documentation
-
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence or similar tools

Strong analytical mindset, autonomy and communication skills
