We represent a fast-growing Quebec-based company in the insurance sector currently undergoing a major digital transformation centered around the Guidewire platform.

To support its operations and the evolution of its systems, the organization is looking to add a Guidewire Functional Analyst who can help bridge the gap between business teams and development teams.

You will join a small, versatile team where analysts play an important role in gathering requirements, producing functional documentation, and supporting the delivery of practical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements from subject matter experts and stakeholders

  • Translate business needs into clear functional specifications

  • Prepare and document change requests

  • Write and maintain functional documentation (user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows)

  • Collaborate closely with Guidewire developers

  • Participate in QA testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)

  • Contribute to the analysis and resolution of application incidents

  • Participate in workshops and facilitate communication between business and technical teams

Profile

  • 3–5 years of experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter

  • Experience in functional analysis or business analysis

  • Ability to understand technical concepts and collaborate with development teams

  • Experience writing user stories and functional documentation

  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence or similar tools

  • Strong analytical mindset, autonomy and communication skills
