Guidewire Developer / Technical Analyst

100% Remote

We represent a fast-growing Quebec-based company in the insurance sector currently undergoing a major digital transformation centered around the Guidewire platform.

To support the evolution of its systems and operations, the organization is looking to add a Guidewire developer who can contribute both to technical development and to the analysis of business requirements.

You will join a small, versatile team where developers actively participate in solution design, collaborate with business stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs in collaboration with analysts and subject matter experts

• Develop and configure features in Guidewire PolicyCenter

• Participate in the analysis and preparation of change requests

• Contribute to the design and integration of services (REST APIs, SOAP, Web services)

• Work with functional analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions

• Participate in QA testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT)

• Contribute to the analysis and resolution of production incidents

• Maintain clear technical and functional documentation (Jira, Confluence)

Profile

• 3–5 years of experience with Guidewire, ideally PolicyCenter

• Experience with Guidewire configuration and development (Gosu)

• Good understanding of business processes and functional requirements

• Ability to collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders

• Experience with integrations using REST APIs, SOAP or web services

• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence or similar tools

• Strong analytical mindset, autonomy and communication skills
