100% Remote
We represent a fast-growing Quebec-based company in the insurance sector currently undergoing a major digital transformation centered around the Guidewire platform.
To support the evolution of its systems and operations, the organization is looking to add a Guidewire developer who can contribute both to technical development and to the analysis of business requirements.
You will join a small, versatile team where developers actively participate in solution design, collaborate with business stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform.
Responsibilities

Analyze business needs in collaboration with analysts and subject matter experts

Develop and configure features in Guidewire PolicyCenter

Participate in the analysis and preparation of change requests

Contribute to the design and integration of services (REST APIs, SOAP, Web services)

Work with functional analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions

Participate in QA testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
-
Contribute to the analysis and resolution of production incidents

Maintain clear technical and functional documentation (Jira, Confluence)
Profile
-
3–5 years of experience with Guidewire, ideally PolicyCenter
-
Experience with Guidewire configuration and development (Gosu)

Good understanding of business processes and functional requirements

Ability to collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders

Experience with integrations using REST APIs, SOAP or web services
-
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence or similar tools

Strong analytical mindset, autonomy and communication skills
