The worldwide growing demand for electric energy has enabled SICAME Group to expand rapidly since its creation over 50 years ago. Today, the Group operates in 17 countries and its products are distributed in 120 countries.

The Group remains focused on products and services pertaining to the transport and distribution of electricity, as well as to related systems, safety equipment and tools. Thanks to this strategy, it had become the largest independent entity in its sector of activity with over 2000 employees and sales exceeding 400M CAD.

The acquisition of the ALCAN Conductor Accessories Division in 2000 marked the arrival of the Group and its products on the Canadian market, and CICAME ENERGIE was founded.

Since then, CICAME ENERGIE has been servicing the North American utility market with connectors and accessories for transmission and distribution networks. CICAME ENERGIE designs, manufactures and sells a complete line of conductor hardware, damping systems, and grounding solutions for transmission lines up to 765kV, medium and low voltage distribution networks, and for all types of bare and insulated conductors: ACSR, AAC, AAAC, ACSS and copper.
