SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

The Scala Spark Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data processing solutions to support Liquidity MRA reporting, analytics, and data quality controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, unit test and optimize data pipelines using Scala and Apache Spark.
  • Implement transformations, aggregations, and calculations required for liquidity reporting.
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of large-scale data processing jobs.
  • Integrate data from multiple source systems (e.g., transactional, risk, financial data).
  • Apply data validation, reconciliation, and error-handling mechanisms.
  • Support deployment, code reviews, and production issue resolution.
  • Adhere to SDLC enterprise development standards, security, and governance policies.

MUST-HAVE Hard Skills:

Scala Spark developer experience - at least 5 years
