Due to growth with our ServiceNow platform, we have an exciting opportunity for a ServiceNow Developer to join our DPP Knowledge Management Team and directly support the DPP Accounting & Assurance teams. The ServiceNow Developer will work with both the ITS ServiceNow team as well as the DPP Knowledge Management team supporting the ServiceNow projects as well as the Audit and Assurance portal and content updates.
What you will do
- Manage the ServiceNow relationship with the Accounting & Assurance team and provide required support.
- Work in the office 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday), work remotely (home) rest of the week.
- Develop and extend existing functions in the ServiceNow – DPP forms based on requirements.
- Work closely with Audit KM Senior Manager to perform Audit SharePoint site updates and maintenance.
- Coordinate weekly update sets and move updates from the development environment to production.
- Work with internal teams to understand platform usage, feature requirements, workflows, and support updates and changes to the platform.
- Document, maintain, and update policies, procedures, and controls for the operations of the ServiceNow platform.
- Ensures operational integrity of workflows and configurations.
- Resolve basic incidents and fulfill routine service requests.
- Administrate the workflows on the software, implement new systems or add-ons.
- Commit to the continuous improvement, and learning development of ServiceNow best practices, tools, and technology.
- Other technology related task not ServiceNow related.
What you bring to the role
- Prior ServiceNow Platform administration and development experience.
- Certified ServiceNow System Administrator and/or Certified ServiceNow System Developer.
- SharePoint knowledge.
- Be professional, friendly, and articulate in your communication and troubleshooting skills.
- Eager to take on new tasks/responsibilities and has passion for customer experience, operational excellence, and continuous development.
- Prior experience developing custom applications in ServiceNow, leveraging scripted workflows, complex business rules, client-side/server-side scripting, custom UI pages, ACLs, custom widgets, custom reporting.
- Overarching understanding of ServiceNow Enterprise product suite.
- Hands-on experience in technical solution design, software specifications, conceptualization, and development.
- Flexibility to travel occasionally (within Canada).
- Flexibility to work after business hours when required.
This position requires written and oral fluency in English. The successful candidate may be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking colleagues or stakeholders while at KPMG. The successful candidate may be required to create, interpret and/or apply policies, practices, laws and and/or regulations during the regular course of their employment.
