What is the Opportunity?

Reporting to the Senior Business Manager, IS, the Jr. Cost Analyst will have a background in both business finance and IT project management and will understand procurement processes and software license management. They will provide direct support to the Scaffold IS programs and projects on the planning, invoicing, and license management to support our cost recovery programs.

What Youll Do Here:

  • Adheres to and supports the established Procure to Pay process.
  • Tracks the lifecycle of requests through PO creation, PO approval and receipt of goods.
  • Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipments in error with suppliers.
  • Collaborates with the Procurement team on process enhancement opportunities.
  • Supports the procurement team with the end-to-end process around IS software license management.
  • Assists with the maintenance and management of all IS contracts in the Contract Management Console.
  • Supports the end user community with process understanding and provides training where applicable.
  • Provides oversight, visibility, and budget control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Provides critical assessment of all budgets and cost projections for Information Services.
  • Collaborates with department heads to strategize ways to minimize waste.
  • Collect and input timely and accurate cost data for cost reports development.
  • Handles all tickets relates to hardware, software, and printer procurement in ticketing system.
  • Co-ordinates new printer orders and printer moves with the managed print services vendors.
  • Engages with mobility, managed print services and other vendors around IS service/support needs.
  • Supports Cost Recovery initiatives in collaboration with the larger Scaffold team as needed.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication, organization, time management, and leadership skills
  • 3+ years SAP experience
  • ITIL Foundation v4 required, additional ITIL certifications an asset.
  • Working with BMC Helix and Freshservice ticketing systems.
  • Microsoft Power BI considered an asset.
  • Experience engaging with external suppliers and vendors.
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent listening, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Comfortability working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Familiar with controls and audit compliance.
  • Solid understating of procurement processes, budgets, and reporting.
