We are currently looking for a Field Operator at our Stonefell Terminal. You will be responsible for all aspects of daily operations of the facility and remote sites in the area including safety, permitting, measurement and maintenance of company facilities at our Athabasca Stonefell Terminal.We offer opportunities to grow, increase your knowledge and skills, and an exciting career filled with a competitive benefits and pension package including generous time off.If this sounds like an exciting opportunity that aligns with your skills, we'd love to hear from you! #joinourteamWhat you will do:Provides onsite field response and communication for Control Centre Operations (CCO) in operational troubleshooting and initial emergency response. (i.e., equipment isolations, spill containment)Custody transfer/quality oil measurements on receipt and delivery meter manifoldsPerforms operational preventative maintenance assignments, such as routine tank inspections, level and temperature accuracy checks, fire extinguisher, safety, and measurement equipment inspections.Performs terminal maintenance activities, such as stormwater management, vegetation control, lawn care and snow removal.Assists the Electrical, Mechanical and Pipeline Maintenance departments when required.Write and maintain the permits of ongoing work within the facility.Utilize Maximo for closing off preventative maintenance items and receiving service requests.Complete and maintain certification in all mandatory training including Environment, Health & Safety and Competency training.Who you are:High School Diploma or equivalent GED with minimum 2 or more years of relevant industry training and experience.Role requires a valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a driver’s abstract check prior to hire.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.Role requires repetitive lifting, bending, crouching, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs on a repetitive basis, physically demanding outdoor work.Familiarity of pipeline and/or terminal operations considered an asset.Mechanical aptitude along with experience on a skid steer or loader would be an asset.Working conditions:Modified Shift work schedule of 12 hour days with a mix of days and nights, to provide Terminal with 24 hours/7 days per/week coverage. 14-day rotation of 7 days on and 7 days off Sharing and carpooling of operations vehicles for transport60% Field outdoor work, 5% Laboratory, 20% Documentation, computer work15% Travel within the area and region (Canada)Diversity and inclusion are important to us.
