We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Kelowna General Hospital.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist at Kelowna General Hospital (KGH) for a permanent, full time opportunity. This position works rotating day, evening, and night shifts.

The pay scale for this position is $51.37 - $64.19.
As the Clinical Pharmacist you will provide pharmacy services to patients in the acute care and long-term care environment. As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will assess and recommend individualized treatments and act as the primary resource for drug information, education and provide expert advice to health care professionals. Added responsibility is monitoring drug prescribing, drug distribution and drug therapy to ensure safe, effective, rational, legal and economic use of drugs.

Qualfications
• Current registration as a pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
• Certification of completion of an Accredited Canadian Pharmacy Residency program (ACPR1);
OR
A combination of at least one year of full time equivalent (FTE) recent relevant clinical pharmacy experience and recognized advanced education courses;
OR
A combination of at least 3 years of full time equivalent (FTE) recent relevant clinical pharmacy experience and an equivalent combination of training, knowledge and experience.
• Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists is encouraged.
