The pay scale for this position is $51.37 - $64.19
What will you work on?
As a Clinical Pharmacist within our organization, you play a pivotal role in our multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing exemplary clinical pharmacy services across acute care and residential care settings. Your responsibilities encompass a range of critical tasks, from personalized treatment assessments to serving as the primary resource for drug information and education. You'll be instrumental in monitoring drug prescribing, distribution, and therapy, ensuring their safe, effective, and economical utilization in alignment with our organization's vision and values.
Practicing patient-centered care, you'll meticulously monitor ongoing drug therapy, evaluating factors such as effectiveness, compliance, and adverse reactions. Your keen attention to detail extends to maintaining accurate workload records and documenting essential findings in patient health records or computerized systems. Additionally, you'll interpret medication orders, ensuring their accurate input and dispensation while actively identifying and resolving drug therapy problems through collaboration with healthcare practitioners. This is a permanent part time (0.41FTE) position working rotating day shifts.

Qualfications
• Current registration as a pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
• Certification of completion of an Accredited Canadian Pharmacy Residency program (ACPR1); OR
A combination of at least one year of full time equivalent (FTE) recent relevant clinical pharmacy experience and recognized advanced education courses;
OR
A combination of at least 3 years of full time equivalent (FTE) recent relevant clinical pharmacy experience and an equivalent combination of training, knowledge and experience.
• Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists is encouraged.
