YOUR ROLE

As a Cook, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and serving varied and balanced meals, while ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and the proper functioning of kitchen facilities.

Specifically, your main responsibilities include:

  • Plan meals, assess required quantities, and manage food supplies.

  • Prepare dishes in accordance with recipes and quality standards, while minimizing food waste.

  • Ensure meal service, including presentation and maintaining safe food temperatures.

  • Coordinate and supervise the work of kitchen staff (kitchen assistants, dishwashers).

  • Keep the kitchen, equipment, and work areas compliant with applicable hygiene and food safety standards (MAPAQ or equivalent).
