ABOUT THE JOB
The incumbent is responsible for coordinating the activities of the CCF Program (Insert drawers, Glass racks) from customer request to product delivery, including invoicing where applicable. The Program Manager provides support to various departments, such as sales, engineering planning, purchasing, methods, production, quality and customer service. He/she must use the customer's program management practices to execute a customer order.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Set up weekly schedules (internal and external);
  • Define, plan and coordinate all activities of the various departments in order to implement the product from start to customer delivery, in line with the customer contract;
  • Monitor the CCF program both internally and externally (customer), covering but not limited to: technical progress, planning, risks and opportunities, issues requiring action, budgets;
  • Interact with the entire organization, with the Account Manager and/or customer as one of the main points of contact with them and with senior management;
  • Make decisions to ensure business progress;
  • Participate in customer visits to understand customer needs;
  • Collaborate in the development and improvement of the CCF program; both in the bidding process, the design process (Layout) and the production launch.
  • Evaluate the risks and new opportunities of the CCF program;
  • Produce and monitor key performance indicators (On-Time Delivery, Quality, Capacity, Cost & Profitability) in order to take appropriate action in the event of deviations;
  • Communicate and track billables to the finance department;
  • Prepare various reports, both internal and external, to demonstrate program progress;
  • Collaborate with the Sales Analyst in the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
  • Analyze product production costs and suggest areas for improvement.
  • Master the ERP system in order to retrieve, but not limited to, updates on the progress of work in progress, the status of priorities, and shortages;
  • Manage resources (needs) at both engineering and production floor levels;
  • Participate in inventory management (with Purchasing) according to firm requirements (under PO) and those projected (forecasts) by the customer;
  • Help set up an automatic bidding system;
  • Help set up an automatic purchase order entry system in ERP;
  • Follow-up on the management of a CCF change at both engineering and production floor levels;
  • Ensure profitability (production cost) at both engineering and finished product levels;
  • Measure customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate and support service calls
  • Participate in and implement improvement opportunities
  • Act as the point of contact for account managers and act as an interface with the Operations team (Planning, Purchasing) on the factory floor to meet customer requests.


OUR REQUIREMENTS
  • College diploma in aeronautics or mechanical engineering, or relevant project management experience
  • 5 to 10 years' experience in a similar position
  • Bilingualism in spoken and written French/English
  • Be innovative
  • Autonomy and good analytical skills
  • Priority management skills, attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate a good attitude, team spirit, positivism, proactivity, good communication and leadership skills.
  • Be agile, resourceful and organized
  • Good command of the Office Suite (construction and monitoring of KPIs)
  • Knowledge of Sage ERP (an asset)
  • PMP certification (an asset)
  • Knowledge of Catia V5 software (an asset)
