YORK CATHOLIC DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD

Invites applications for the position of:

CUPE 2331 Supply Secretary / Clerical

$ 31.36 per hour

Position Summary:

Under the direction and supervision of the School Principal, the supply secretary / clerical is responsible for providing administrative support to school administration, staff, students, and parents.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Support daily office operations, including managing calls, emails, mail, visitors, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service for students, staff, and parents.
  • Maintain accurate records and enter data as required and as per Board policies.
  • Provide minor first aid to students and prepare injury reports.
  • Perform other related tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school graduation plus an additional specialized program/course of up to one year or equivalent.

Experience:

  • A minimum of six months of experience is required.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Knowledge of YCDSB Systems would be an asset.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Customer service-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor.

The above position is posted in accordance with CUPE 2331 Collective Agreement Article 12.01.
