Wood is currently recruiting for a Technical Director - Midstream Gas to join its Canadian business, focusing on midstream gas and gas processing facilities. This opportunity is hybrid and will be based in Calgary, AB. The Role

As Canadian energy continues to play a crucial role in the global energy mix, Wood sees an expansion within the gas sector and is expanding our capabilities to deliver a wider selection of services to our customers. The need for a Technical Director - Midstream Gas has been identified as a strategic position for the company to further expand into the sector.

This role provides strategic technical leadership across midstream gas and gas processing projects, ensuring engineering excellence, lean design approaches and operational efficiency. The Technical Director will drive innovation, best practices and technical consistency across projects, supporting successful execution from concept through delivery. While the primary focus will be gas plants, the role will also support upstream engagements including compressor stations and gathering systems.

The role is predominately a technical role, with the addition of supporting business development engagements with customers.
