The Role
Wood is currently recruiting an Indirect Tax Manager to join our team in our Calgary office; however, the role can be done remotely. The Indirect Tax Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of indirect tax compliance and advisory support for Canadian operations, including GST/HST, PST, and to a lesser extent, US sales and use tax compliance. This role will involve ensuring tax returns are submitted timely and accurately and advising the business on technical matters and ensuring robust process and good governance. The ideal candidate will have experience with data manipulation tools and a keen interest in the use of AI to support the tax function. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams globally to harness data, streamline processes, and drive business strategy.

- Competitive salary with regular salary reviews to ensure we are rewarding at the right level in line with the market. Salary range for this position is $101,000 - $110,000. Final salary will be based on relevant and applicable experience, education, and the specific skill set and qualifications required for the role.
