POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for group planning, group facilitation, providing direct outreach and acting as the liaison between the family and other community resources.

QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented individual. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills and be able to work to strict deadlines while contributing to a professional working environment.

Candidates must have:

Grade 12 and a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with adults and infants in the area of pregnancy, parenting and nutrition.

Knowledge of community resources and facilitation experience.

Proficiency in both official languages, English and French

Demonstrated computer proficiency.

Valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle.

Assets:

Ability to communicate in language(s) other than English and French

Knowledge of barriers that affect 2SLGBTQIA+ & BIPOC communities accessing health care

Commitment to anti-oppressive and anti-racist work practices
