The Opportunity

The Hydraulic Hose & Fitting Specialist is responsible for assembling, repairing, and testing hydraulic hoses and fittings to support customer and branch requirements. This role involves working with hydraulic hose products, maintaining inventory, preparing orders, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced shop environment. Training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the industrial and hydraulic industry.

The Role

  • Assemble hydraulic hoses and fittings according to customer specifications.
  • Cut, crimp, and test hydraulic hoses using shop equipment.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders.
  • Assist customers at the service counter and over the phone.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and stock shelving.
  • Receive and put away incoming shipments.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Support other branch operations as required.

The Candidate

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, shop, manufacturing, or labour position is considered an asset.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to use hand tools and measuring devices.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Forklift experience is required.
  • Experience with hydraulic hoses and fittings is an needed.
