The Opportunity
Responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational direction to drive growth, profitability, and long-term success of the division. This role ensures alignment with the company’s overall business strategy, builds strong manufacturer partnerships, and empowers the Valves & Actuation team to deliver superior service, quality, and customer satisfaction.
The Role
- Develop, communicate, and execute the Valves & Actuation growth strategy, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and profitability. Fully accountable for divisional P&L management, including budgeting, forecasting, and delivering against financial targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and OEMs, ensuring alignment on product offerings, quality standards, and competitive positioning.
- Provide clear direction, coaching, and leadership to the Valves & Actuation team and Technical Sales Specialists (TSS), ensuring accountability, clear roles and responsibilities, structured training programs, performance management, and development.
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Support teams to identify opportunities, drive business performance, and deliver customer value.
- Champion the promotion and sale of Valves & Actuation product lines, working closely with sales teams to drive market penetration, customer adoption, and revenue targets.
- Drive a culture of follow-through and measurable results by managing; KPIs - achieving growth, sales, and operational performance metrics, Quality - strict adherence to Tundra’s Quality Program and OEM standards, Warranty - proactive management to minimize claims and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Oversee operations metrics, and customer service initiatives that maximize efficiency, predict performance, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
The Candidate
Education: College diploma or post-secondary education required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Work Experience: 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in valve service, product support, supply chain, or related industrial operations.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of valve technologies; proven ability to manage a division including quoting, sales execution, and P&L accountability; advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
