The Role
- Manage equipment inventory ordering across Canada, including rental fleet orders. Work closely with the Inventory Manager, VP of Material Handling, and internal departments to complete paperwork, obtain approvals, and coordinate with regional teams
- Run monthly inventory reports to identify aging equipment and support liquidation strategies. Use creative thinking to recommend actions to help move aged inventory and align with national inventory goals.
- Research vendor policies on tariffs and logistics, and work with internal teams to coordinate ocean shipments and ensure compliance with import/export rules.
- Act as the main contact between Accounts Payable and vendors, monitoring accounts to prevent credit holds and helping resolve unidentified invoices, credits, or other issues to keep accounts in good standing.
- Support Sales Managers and Representatives with deal structuring, pricing validation, and vendor pricing, including discounts and market-based strategies.
- Coordinate with regional teams to ensure order accuracy and fulfillment, and step into a Sales Coordination role when needed for vacation coverage or staffing gaps.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through analysis of spending, market trends, and process improvements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by helping document processes, support change initiatives, and work across departments.
- Support the onboarding of new OEMs and vendors under the Material Handling umbrella by preparing documentation, keeping internal teams informed, taking meeting notes, tracking progress, and helping build or improve related processes.
- Assist the Vice President of Material Handling with special projects, vendor reviews, and strategic initiatives.
- Travel: Occasional travel may be required (up to 10%).

The Candidate
- Education:
- Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 0-5 years of experience in inventory coordination, vendor support, or sales operations.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, operations, finance, and vendor teams.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to take clear meeting notes and follow through on action items.
- Willingness to learn, ask questions, and contribute to process improvements.
- Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP/CRM systems (e.g., M3, Salesforce).
