What You'll Do

As a Production Technician, you'll play a key role in keeping industrial operations running safely and efficiently.

Assembly & Installation

  • Assemble hydraulic and pneumatic units and control panels
  • Fabricate and install hydraulic hoses and factory piping
  • Install and commission hydraulic and pneumatic equipment

Troubleshooting & Service

  • Perform in-house and on-site repairs
  • Provide emergency service and troubleshooting support asrequired
  • Diagnose hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and control system issues

Maintenance & Documentation

  • Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Follow company procedures for service calls, repairs, and warranty work
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation

Customer Support

  • Provide customers with technical guidance, product recommendations, and practical solutions to improve equipment performance and reliability

Safety

  • Follow all company and customer health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in industrial mechanics and/or hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Valid driver's license
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications

Assets

  • Technical or mechanical training
  • Knowledge of hydraulic schematics
  • Experience with industrial products, automation, hydraulics, or pneumatics

Physical & Travel Requirements

  • Regularly lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable bending, crawling, working in confined or awkward positions, and walking on uneven surfaces
  • Own and be comfortable using standard hand tools required for the role
  • Ability to travel to customer sites asrequired, including interprovincial travel when necessary

Additional Requirements

  • Successful completion of a background check
  • Acceptable driver's abstract
