Student - Support Operations

Vitalité Health Network is looking for students to help support operations over the summer period.

SUMMARY OF DIFFERENT POSITIONS:

1. Pandemic screener: Welcome people entering a designated facility by actively administering the screening questionnaire supplied by Public Health. The screening questionnaire serves as a guide to allow or refuse entry to the facility during a state of emergency or when required due to another operational reason.
   From $19.0250 to $20.3997 per hour
   
   
2. Food services attendant: Apportion and serve food on a production basis. Clean and sterilize pots and pans, cutlery and dishes used in the facility.
   From $19.7083 to $21.1355 per hour
   
   
3. Housekeeping attendant: Perform physically demanding manual work to keep the health care environment clean and safe.
   From $19.7083 to $21.1355 per hour
   
   
4. Hospital room aides: Help patients move around and help the nursing staff with everyday tasks on the unit. Collect and clean equipment and supplies and store these in the appropriate areas. Ensure that there are enough supplies and equipment. Dispatch specimens, equipment and supplies into the various areas. Perform all other related duties, as per the needs of the unit.
   From $20.4184 to 21.8996$ per hour

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.;
• Ability to work independently and as a team member;
• Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
• Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
• Adherence to professional ethics principles, the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
• Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
