Description

JOB SUMMARY:
The incumbent will be responsible for managing the employees and operations in their sector, including supplier management, disbursement management and cooperation with the purchasing sector. They are responsible for planning, developing, and implementing best practices, as well as designing internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure the integrity and effective management of processes. They ensure the implementation and maintenance of standardized processes across the Network and oversee activities related to the preparation of year-end reports. The incumbent may be required to manage employees who work remotely. They may also be assigned various mandates based on the operational needs of the Financial Services Department.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting;
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in financial accounting;
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in supervision and personnel management;
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered;
- Professional accounting designation (CPA), an asset;
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and other software used within the Network;
- Understanding of organizational needs and priorities;
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement best practices;
- Demonstrated ability in transformational leadership, employee engagement, gaining buy-in, and supporting change management;
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously;
- Strong organizational skills and ability to establish priorities;
- Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills;
- Ability to analyze, write, and synthesize information;
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Vitalité Health Network territory.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member;
- Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
- Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
- Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the network management philosophy and organizational values;
- Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
