Description

JOB SUMMARY:
The incumbent is responsible for registering patients; assigning beds, welcoming and directing clients or the public; providing telephone support and printing various reports. He or she will perform any other related tasks as required by operational needs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school graduation or general education diploma (GED) plus an additional administrative support program/course of over six months and up to one year or equivalent;
- Medical terminology training or completion of such training within set timeframe;
- Good knowledge of computer tools and office automation applications and ability to use;
- Calm and flexible nature;
- Good public and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as a team member;
- Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
- Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
- Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
- Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
