About Grace Village
Grace Village is a non-profit seniors residence dedicated to providing Excellent, Loving and Compassionate Care to seniors in our community. We work closely with the Grace Village Care Foundation and Boutique Encore to support residents, employees, volunteers, donors, and community partners.
Position Overview
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Marketing and Communications Agent is responsible for promoting Grace Village, the Grace Village Care Foundation, and Boutique Encore through creative, strategic, and cost-effective marketing and communications initiatives. The role contributes directly to organizational visibility, community engagement, and long-term sustainability through strategic communications planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, develop, and publish engaging content across digital platforms
- Tailor messaging and visuals to diverse audiences
- Maintain a consistent and engaging digital presence
- Update and maintain website content using WordPress
- Coordinate newsletters and written communications
- Create advertisements and promotional materials within approved budgets
- Identify opportunities for free community exposure and outreach
- Support Boutique Encore marketing through hands-on operational involvement
- Assist in planning, promoting, and reporting on events and campaigns
- Develop and implement an annual marketing and communications plan
- Organize and maintain marketing assets and content resources
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Experience with social media and digital communications
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Canva, and digital tools, including AI tools
- WordPress and photography experience considered assets
- Creative, organized, and resourceful
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively
