DOO Studio is BRP’s global internal creative and production studio. Composed of multidisciplinary content production experts, DOO Studio supports BRP’s portfolio of brands in the development of multi-channel content initiatives, handling creative development, production management, post-production, and digital activation.
DOO Studio is looking for a Studio Coordinator located in our Sherbrooke Studio location.
Reporting to the Producer, your role will consist of overseeing the logistics and production coordination of a photo/video studio facility, managing equipment, scheduling shoots and coordinating productions with internal clients and producers. Your role is a key contributor to the organization's vision to scale our internal creative services and provide agility and efficiency to this growing department.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
OPERATIONS:
Main point of contact for Project Managers, Producers and internal clients/teams for all projects happening in our studio facilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the studio, including studios scheduling and maintenance of the overall studio spaces
Manages the budget related to the maintenance & improvements of our Studio facilities and equipment
Maintain accurate records of all equipment and supplies, ensuring that all inventory is accounted for and properly stored
Oversee the setup and teardown of sets and equipment, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly and that all sets are clean and ready for the next shoot
Supervise and coordinate the product arrival & departure from the studio
PRODUCTION:
Hire & supervise freelancers and other support staff (as needed) working on a regular basis in studio (prepares contracts, manages invoices, etc)
Maintain a roster of local talents and vendors (ie: photographers, videographers, models, etc)
Coordinate production logistics, including managing the flow of talent, and addressing any issues that arise in a timely and professional manner
Work closely with project coordinators on everyday operations of our E-commerce photography Studio providing production support (daily report of production progress, booking local talent, ensuring a good pace of production and act as the eyes of the client for quality control)
At times, may be asked to support/collaborate with producers on larger projects or lead entirely small productions. Tasks and implications may vary from shoot to shoot
Collaborate with Content Adaptation Manager to develop and implement studio processes that improve our studio facility and its production capabilities
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as film, photography, or media production
3-5 years of experience in production coordination or studio management
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in an organized and collaborative manner
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with broader team members (project coordinators & producers), internal clients and creative talents (photographers, videographers, stylists, models and more)
Proficiency in relevant software and equipment, such as Google Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, and camera and lighting equipment
Resourceful with the ability to adapt, troubleshoot, problem-solve and think creatively in a fast-paced environment
You’re known for your team player qualities, ready to jump in and help bring projects to life
You demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and openness when being a part of a growing department
Knowledge of various camera equipment and production process, an asset
Strong understanding of digital marketing/ecommerce content production, an asset
Interest in the PowerSports industry, an asset
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
