Custodian (Part-Time – 25 hours/week)

Grace Village – Sherbrooke, QC

Grace Village is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our Hospitality Services team. Reporting to the Director of Hospitality Services, this role plays an important part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Schedule
  • 25 hours per week

  • Thursday to Sunday

  • Flexible shift timing (approximately 7:00–13:00 or 11:00–16:00)

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain common areas, service areas, offices, and public restrooms

  • Sweep, mop, scrub floors and operate industrial floor-care equipment

  • Empty trash and recycling containers and manage waste disposal

  • Restock supplies and ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards

  • Follow established safety rules, procedures, and cleaning protocols

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (CEGEP an asset)

  • Experience in commercial, residential, or healthcare cleaning preferred

  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail

  • Strong time-management skills

  • Ability to lift or push equipment up to 50 lbs
