Reporting to the Manager Sales, LPG & Assoc Trader, the incumbent will play a key role by coordinating the supply logistics for the Montreal-East Terminal (MET), one of the largest terminals in North America. The MET receives product from various sources such as by pipeline, ship and rail. In addition, the incumbent will manage product quality control of finished products for the Terminal.
Responsabilities
Administers the inventory and supply of gasoline and distillates for the Montreal-East Terminal, which is received by pipeline, rail and ship.
Examines and analyzes data on outgoing petroleum products at the Terminal. Prepares product demand forecasts and logistical requirements.
Manages the quality of various products stored in Montreal-East, and heads up efforts to resolve quality issues, as required.
Provides operation orders daily at the Montreal-East Terminal.
Works in collaboration with the Terminal for tank decommissioning.
Works in collaboration with the Terminal on tank farm management.
Validates, approves and submits for payment Montreal-East Terminal supply invoices (inspection, monitoring, etc.).
Maintains the integrity of supply agreements and volume contracts with third parties.
Manages supply-related operational emergencies relating to the Terminal.
Replaces one of the Coordinators, Product Logistics, as required.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (business related, engineering or logistics)
Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience
Bilingual - French and English (spoken and written)
Experience in petroleum industry, a strong asset
Strong Excel & SAP / SAP BW knowledge, an asset
Strong team player
Initiative and leadership
Creative problem solving skills, under pressure
Analytical skills
Communication and negotiation skills
