Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic mechanic to join our team as a Mobile Unit Mechanic. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment on our mobile unit, which includes a wide range of machinery and vehicles.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems on mobile unit equipment.
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on machines and vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards when performing repairs and inspections.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each task.
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure efficient operation of the mobile unit.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify potential problems and propose solutions.
- Follow established safety procedures and protocols when using tools and equipment.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in automotive, diesel, or industrial mechanics.
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in effectively using diagnostic and repair tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to different sites as needed.
Working Conditions:
